The compact design of the Stihl MS201TC-M Chainsaw uses an efficient M-tronic engine management system that also uses Stihls 2-Mix engine that cuts emissions by up to 70% and improves fuel consumption by up to 20% compared to the previous generation of Stihl engines. The Stihl MS201TC-M Commercial Chainsaw is extremely lightweight and offers great manoeuvrability. This Professional Stihl Chainsaw features a captive nut on the sprocket cover for quick changing of the chain and the lightweight guide bar reduces the overall weight and keeps the saw perfectly balanced.

Stihl top-handled chainsaws are only available to users holding a certificate of competence that must be produced before professional chainsaws can be supplied.
